Idol last night featured songs from one of my all-time favorite performers - Sir Elton John. Highlights of the evening...
Elton John has a country song and Scotty went there - just call him the country Justin Bieber. Naima pulled out her otherwise hidden Jamaican accent, Pia sang a ballad - again and Casey might have redeemed himself. In keeping with Idol tradition though, a contestant (Paul) once again butchered one of my favorite songs (Rocketman) as also done by Lacey Brown with Landslide last season.
So this week we will have 2 folks going home. As always, you will have 20 points to guess on a total of 4 people to go. So as you allocate your points, that's how you will receive them.
And as promised, a bonus opportunity this week! Since we will be saying goodbye to 2 contestants, you may guess if we will be losing 2 males, 2 females, or 1 of each for an additional 20 points. This is an all or nothing bonus so you have to be spot on to get all the points. Hopefully this will help some people make up for the Casey shocker last week.
